True industrial automation has reached the 3D printing market with Genera's A2 system. The A2 automation module connects the powerful G2 printer to the F2 post-processing unit to enable lights-out production. The A2 transfers finished print jobs from the G2 to the F2 for post-processing, while also bringing new build platforms to the G2 for continuous printing. After the printed parts have been washed and cured, they are returned to the A2 where they can be stored for later removal by an operator without interrupting the machine cycle.
The A2's modular design allows the system to be tailored to specific customer production needs, with additional processing stations and the integration of third-party robotic arm machine controls.
