Metal 3D printing
Metal 3D printing is increasingly used to produce strong and precise metal parts, ranging from prototypes to end-use components. Within this technology, several manufacturing methods exist. For this reason, we work with two specialized partners, each offering their own technology and advantages.
By combining these two technologies, SEIDO Systems provides a flexible and accessible solution for metal 3D printing, suitable for both simple applications and complex metal parts, including series production.
SLM (Selective Laser Melting)
Xact Metal uses Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF), a technology in which thin layers of metal powder are selectively melted by a laser. This process is also known as Selective Laser Melting (SLM) and builds metal parts layer by layer. It is well suited for producing complex, strong components with high precision.
MoldJet®
Tritone uses MoldJet® technology, in which a mold is built layer by layer and then filled with metal or ceramic paste. This powder-free process enables the production of strong, complex parts that are difficult to manufacture using traditional methods. MoldJet® is fast, flexible, and suitable for industrial-scale production.
