EinScan Medixa
The EinScan Medixa is a wireless all-in-one 3D scanner developed specifically for orthotic and prosthetic care. Scanning, processing and exporting all happen on the device itself, with no external computer. Using white light and infrared VCSEL, it scans without contact and comes with presets for the cranium, torso, limbs, feet and sockets, among others.

How the EinScan Medixa works
The Medixa combines 3D body scanning, processing and data export in a single device. You choose the scan preset for the body part, scan, let the scans align and export the result – four steps, with on-screen guidance. That means even staff with no 3D scanning experience can get up to speed quickly.
The predefined parameters deliver accurate 3D models in STL, OBJ and PLY with little post-processing, ready for your CAD/CAM or O&P design software. Besides the shape, the 5 MP texture camera also captures the markings you draw on the skin.
