Ti-6Al-4V (Ti-64) is the most commonly used alpha-beta titanium alloy and is known as the “workhorse alloy” within the titanium industry. Its excellent combination of high strength, low density and superior corrosion resistance makes it a favored material for aerospace applications, including aircraft fuselages and engine components, as well as for critical applications in the maritime, offshore and power generation sectors.
The low-oxygen variant, Ti6Al4V ELI (ASTM grade 23), is widely used in the biomedical industry due to the excellent biocompatibility of titanium alloys.
Tritone Ti6Al4V offers exceptional strength and toughness, combined with very low levels of contaminants, making it ideally suited for demanding applications where performance and reliability are crucial.
