ULTEM™ 9085 filament, available in brown and black, is used in advanced applications such as functional testing, production tooling and the direct digital production of end-use parts, including aircraft interior parts and ductwork. It extends the use of additive manufacturing to applications requiring thermal and chemical resistance and works with breakaway backing materials.

ULTEM™ 9085 filament resin CG meets stringent testing criteria and maintains the traceability required by the aerospace industry. The Certificates of Analysis document the test results and identification of both raw material and filament so that the filament lot numbers correspond to the raw material lot numbers.

ULTEM™ 9085 filament resin is a flame retardant, high performance thermoplastic. It features a high strength-to-weight ratio, excellent heat resistance and high impact resistance. It also possesses favorable flame, smoke and toxicity characteristics.
