What is it?
SAF ReLife™ PA12 enables reuse of PA12 powder waste from other PBF technologies.
The Stratasys H350 SAF printer can print with 100% recycled powder with a software update. It is even possible to switch between standard PA12 and recycled powder from build to build.
The following (waste) powder is eligible:
- SLS PA12 waste
- MJF PA12 waste
- MJF White PA12 waste

Choose PA12 when producing large volumes where accuracy and low costs per piece are important. The following PA12 residual products can be reused with the H350 printer:
- SLS PA12 Waste
- MJF PA12 Waste
- MJF White PA12 Waste
Environmental impact
The largest CO₂ savings comes from the reuse of PA12 powder that would otherwise end up in the landfill. Every kilo of PA12 that does not end up in landfill saves 7.78 kg of CO₂ emissions in future production. This equates to a 43% reduction in the CO₂ footprint when using traditional energy sources and even up to 89% with renewable energy.
Customers with more than 500 kg/year of PA12 waste powder from MJF 3D printers (3D Systems, EOS or HP) can sign up for the beta program. A Stratasys H350 3D printer and ReLife PA12 license are required.
